For heavy industrial bearings, Axis selects material in higher standard than Gcr15, for instance, Gcr15SiMn.
For special applications, such as rolling mill, Axis selects carburizing steel to withstand the heavy loads and impacts.
Heat treatment is a crucial process to ensure the bearings performance. Axis adopts advanced heat treatment and executes random inspection of metallographic organization for each batch of parts.
Interal flaw will impact bearing service life seriously, but it cannot be found from surface. Axis leverages our advanced device – ultrasonic detecter to ensure the defective products will not be delivered.
Hardness determines the bearing’s capacity of load carrying and wearing resistance. Axis guarantees each product is in compliance with international standards.
Competible clearance will prolong the service life of bearings. Axis adjusts and inspects bearing radial clearance in advance according to the application conditions and customer’s request.
In Axis’ 300m2 testing lab, bearings are tested for their noise and vibartion level, to ensure their operation stability and durability.
